• Opt-in: Opt-in is required, any form of opt-in is allowed by the operators such as web, call center or MO, and the content provider must be able to demonstrate proof of opt-in in the event of an operator audit or a user complaint.
• Opt-out: Opt-out via SMS is required, and the content provider is responsible for opting users out of their databases.
• Sending times: Marketing programs may only be sent from 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
• Restricted content: Political content · Religious content · Tobacco · Alcohol · Drugs · Terrorism · Insults and obscene language · Adult, erotic, pornographic or sexual content, including sexual education services · Content attacking morality, modesty or dignity · Content inciting violence, public disorder or discrimination · Misleading or confusing information · Malicious, criminal or fraudulent content · Content against the internal or external security of the State · Content contravening the country's legal provisions
• Registration: Marketing content must be approved by the operators in advance.
• The name of the company sending the SMS must be stated in the message body.
• Programs should support a HELP message as a best practice.
