Compliance in Serbia

  • Opt-out: Opt-out is required for marketing traffic: international brands must state the ability to opt out in the message body, for example "to unsubscribe reply STOP to XXXXX" (with STOP replies recommended to be free to the end user), while local brands must use their local provider's dedicated short code and state the opt-out instruction in the local language, for example "Odjava STOP na 5005", after which no further messages are delivered to that user.
  • Sending times: Marketing traffic may only be sent between 9:00 AM and 20:00 PM local time.
  • The content provider is responsible for removing opted-out users from their databases.
  • Gambling content is permitted subject to compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations.
